Love the scent of Refine. It has a very manly and smooth scent. My beard does very well with all Deadman’s oils and butters.

As someone who has too many beard products already, 2024 was the year I said I wasn’t going to try any new brands. I kept hearing so much great feedback about Deadman’s Beard Co., I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did! Deadman’s Beard Co. has one of the best carrier blends in the business. The list of carriers is amazing, and the result is my skin and beard feel healthy and soft all day long. The medium viscosity oil absorbs quickly, leaving behind no greasy residue, and my beard styles so well. The butter is a perfect companion to my beard care routine. I typically use it at night, and occasionally pair it with the oil during the day if I feel my beard needs some extra TLC.

Scents are so subjective, and I don't think beard product reviews should be based solely on scent profile. Feel in-beard, longevity, and beard health should be the main elements reviewed in my opinion. One man's 5-star scent is another man's 0-star scent. I am fortunate in that I have a broad spectrum of scents that appeal to me. There are scents that I LOVE, scents that I like a lot, scents that I think are OK, and very rarely, I find a scent that doesn't work for me on any level. That being said, I was blown away by Refine! I didn’t know essential oil profiles could be so complex and long lasting. This profile changed my mind of what EO-only scents are. Bryant is doing an amazing job crafting unique scent profiles that aren’t the standard fare.

Refine.. The oil’s viscosity is right in the middle of the spectrum. The color of this oil grabs your attention right away. You know you’re in for a treat. For an essential oil this is a long lasting scent. This scent starts off with the rose and drifts slowly to oud. A light oud. The rose and oud just bounce back and forth with each other.Its a great floral scent with a perfect feeling of masculinity. A perfect date night scent that’s not over the top. Wife loves it just as much as I do.
