I absolutely love Fireside Retreat! Growing up in an area where there is a heavy amount of pine trees and an avid camper, this smells just like the campfires I used to make with the pine wood from the fallen trees. Doesn't get much better than this! And the feel in my beard and on my skin is outstanding...the carrier oil blend is TOP NOTCH!
Received the Agave Tides and Supernova sample size beard oils. Both are refreshing smells and feel great on the beard/skin. Will definitely be ordering more in the future!

The product is good for beard care. Is moisturizing and works well into the beard. The scent is horrible. I wasn’t too keen on it and works well for repelling my spouse. I selected this scent profile as it sounded similar to others I have used in the past, but I was very wrong. I have an almost full bottle of oil and jar of balm I will never use.
What an amazing product, from packaging to scent to feel in beard. Tart, juicy lemon and cool, minty blue tansy absolutely pop right out of the bottle, mixed with a nice crisp apple. That amber / vanilla base is solid, smooth, and adds a pleasing warmth and balance to those fabulous top notes. Call me impressed! Red, White and Blue Tansy from Deadman's Beard Co. has a medium scent strength, and lasts a nice 5 to 6 hours, and is nicely revived with a light misting, application of butter and a comb through. I’ve tried a bunch of beard oils, but Death by Citrus from Deadman’s Beard Co. really surprised me. First off, my beard actually feels softer and healthier after using it for a week or so—no more random itchiness or dry patches, which is a win in my book.
The scent is honestly what sold me. It’s got this fresh, zesty citrus thing going on, but there’s also a little minty vibe from the peppermint and tea tree. It wakes me up in the morning but doesn’t stick around all day, so it’s not overwhelming. My partner even commented that it smells “clean,” which I’ll take as a compliment.
It’s not greasy at all, and I don’t need to use a ton to get my beard feeling good. If you’re after something that keeps your beard feeling healthy and you like a citrusy, refreshing scent, I’d say give this one a shot. It’s become a regular part of my routine.

It’s damn good. Fresh and minty with a touch of herbal. Amazing scent and quality.
I get this scent specifically for my wife’s sniffer, it’s sensitive and true and this gets me back in the good graces. It’s sweet and citrus blend is great for a hot or cold day and it doesn’t overwhelm my face so it’s a plus for me to have one laying around.
Supernova is an incredible scent and my beard feels and looks great. Customer service is top notch.

From the blue hue of the oil butter and cologne to the beautiful scent of blue tansy. Been using about 3-4 days now. Loving the scents. Have used other companies with good results but all the good oils dead man's use figured give a try. Still need few more days to get more accurate results but honestly with my mostly gray beard in the short time using, already seeing great results. I feel... So far, that beard is feeling and looking better than with other oils in past. So really thinking this is going to be my go to. Can't wait to try some of their other products, but yeah two thumbs up for me and do highly recommend for guys with gray and little coarser beards. This is medium viscosity oil.
