2022 Pre-Launch Logo

This was our very first logo— created pre-launch. Deadman’s original design leaned into a retro gaming vibe, with bold, playful art and arcade-inspired colors. The early vision focused on fun, colorful labels and nostalgic scent names. At the time, Deadman’s was just a fun side project, available only at our own barbershop.

2023 Logo

The next version of our logo came when we decided to start selling online and realized we needed something more high-definition. Long-term branding still wasn’t the priority — we were laser-focused on crafting the best beard care products on the planet. While still mostly a barbershop-exclusive brand, we couldn’t wait to get our products online and hear feedback from a wider audience.

2024

Heading into 2024, it was clear we were onto something special. Our Etsy shop was growing, feedback was incredible, and all the time spent perfecting our products was finally paying off. We knew it was time to get serious about brand image — to evolve Deadman’s into something more refined and premium, a look that truly matched the quality of what we were creating. This is when the first rendition of today’s now-iconic Deadman figure was born.

Present Day

Our most recent update is an evolution of the 2024 logo — a cleaner, sharper take on the now-iconic Deadman figure. This final polish brings the brand’s journey full circle, with a look that feels premium, classy, and just the right amount of edgy — true to the Deadman’s Beard Co. vision.

This early Black Label design was a game changer for us. It was our first real attempt to shift the brand image to something sleeker and classier — a look that finally matched the quality of our products.

Fun fact: the artwork on that first Black Label logo was actually just the head from our Night Out logo, cropped and edited with a filter. We were having trouble getting new artwork finalized, and our founder got a little antsy… so he took matters into his own (very unartistic) hands!

Our First "Attempt" at A Marketing Video

In 2023, we took our first stab at video marketing. The 13-second clip above took our founder an embarrassingly long time to make (longer than you’re thinking). It was never really used — but looking back, it’s the perfect snapshot of how far Deadman’s, and the team behind it, has come.
