Just a quick review on a few tried scents.

Slate - This one is a subtle cologne scent. It's not punchy or overbearing in anyway but has a nice balanced clean refreshing aroma. A good one to start out with.

Blackwater - Opposite of Slate, this one hits hard. Very masculine and heavy yet pleasant to wear. Slightly musky with a modern fresh kick.

Sea Storm - It fits right between Slate and Blackwater. It has a nice hint of lime followed by a smooth aquatic finish. Slightly cologne based.

Widowmaker - Sweet cherry tobacco with a hint of floral. It starts out strong but mellows out with wear. This one lasts quite a long time too.

Obsidian - Similar to Widowmaker, this one holds the same floral notes but in place of the cherry tobacco, Obsidian has a blackberry clove hit. It wears about the same starting strong and balancing out after a while.

The Study - If you like strong leather scent, this one hits the hard. It's loud and wears a long time. There's supposed to be some mahogany wood in there somewhere but it's hard to detect due to the heavy leather punch. It's not a bad scent but it demands attention.

Pinewood Peak - Heavy on the citrus. This one smells like an orange ground into a fresh cedar plank. It's strong but pleasant.

Supernova - Grapefruit up front that fades into a smooth balanced citrus/fresh/slightly floral scent. This is a nice first one to jump into especially if you enjoy citrus but don't want to smell like fresh cut fruit. It's not super strong and will fade out fairly quickly.

Sedona - Desert floral and kind of desert earthy. Not too strong but balanced and warm. This one is unique from all the others. It's a fun scent.

Death by Citrus - This one is pretty straight forward. Don't let the name intimidate you. It's similar to Supernova but without the extra hints of other scents. It's simply lemon lime citrus and maybe a little orange peel all nicely blended together.

I haven't tried the Glaicer one yet. Sounds interesting though.

If you get the chance, try Red White and Blue Tansy. I don't normally go for the limited edition scents since they're only around a short while. It was a nice nod to The United States 250th birthday but it really needs to be part of the full-time lineup. The blue tansy flower smells great yet still leans masculine. The floral is strong but it wears easy and mellows fast. I just wish it carried longer through the day.

The sample packs are a great way to try these scents out for yourself and it's nice to have the ability to mix and match different quantities unlike some other companies that make you buy pre-selected sample packs. The little bottles last a few days too.

I hope this helps. I probably didn't do the best job explaining scent profiles, everyone's smell is different, also Deadman does a pretty good job on most of their scent descriptions but there's a few that I found were not as described, exaggerated or sometimes undersold. Some reviews might give brief descriptions on one or two scents here and there but I wanted to make a review where they all could be looked at.

If you're new and want suggestions on what to try these are my recommendations.

Fresh Forest is a September limited release and is so so good 🔥 It’s not a burst of Pine but a smooth Pine profile layered beautifully with Oud Wood and Sandalwood. Everest is a new mainline profile and even though I’m not the biggest fan of mint I trusted Deadman’s and wasn’t disappointed. So cooling and refreshing!!

I’ve got sensitive combination skin and was a bit nervous of using a charcoal face wash but trusted Deadman’s and bought a bottle. This photo is of the second bottle I’ve purchased because it’s all my wife and I use now! It’s a great product and you only need a tiny drop to get the job done. Highly recommend!!

Great products. I had a problem with how most products are not labeled correctly (beard balms that are actually beard butters etc) which made it hard for me to understand my beard better. Deadman's is crystal clear. Sincerely, Ban.

The new Deadman’s Activated Charcoal Face Wash. I’ve been looking for a new face wash since the company that I’ve been using the last couple of years recently decided to close shop. I’ve got fairly sensitive combination skin and I was a bit hesitant about the activated charcoal in the Deadman’s. The previous face wash I had been using was for sensitive skin. NO WORRIES‼️I’ve been using the Deadman’s all week and it’s been wonderful and will be my new face wash! I’ve got to also say I was a bit worried about the small 2 FL OZ bottle but let me tell you the smallest amount of this face wash goes a looooong ways. Pea size maximum is all you need and I also wash my bald head along with my face with the Deadman’s. Highly recommended y’all try out the new face wash from Deadman’s it’s 🔥

I’m not one that will write a view because all companies I try I have any problem with! When I get my order the box say Your Beard Best Friend have Arrived! My honest opinion it is my Beard Best Friend! My beard feels softer and looks better than it ever had with any other product I tried!

I've used a few different brands over the years. Always wanted to give this one a try. So when one of go-to brands closed their doors, and the other go-to brands got rid of my favorite scent I decided it was time to try Deadman's Beard Co. and I'm very, very impressed!! I got the daily wash, the butter, oil and balm. All unscented to start. I LOVE this stuff!!! I will absolutely be purchasing more products from this company!

Deadman’s new soap line is AWESOMESAUCE! I’ve already pretty much used up Death by Citrus and was using, one of my favorite profiles, Supernova when Seastorm and Widowmaker showed up. The wife and I couldn’t agree on which one to use first so each got cut in half and straight to the shower! They didn’t disappoint. Do yourself a favor and pick up some Deadman’s soap asap!!

Really like this one. Blue tansy smells true and clean, soaks in fast with zero greasy feel. Easy to apply, no residue, good beard oil.

I’m so glad I changed beard companies. There’s not a ton of products which is nice it’s not overwhelming. Scents last a long time. Beards always soft and controlled!! Shipping is fast too!

Had been curious about the tailored scent and caught the shampoo / conditioner bundle for an awesome price. Use many other deadmans products but have only used other companies wash / cond. After just rinsing the wash I quickly realized I should have ordered this a long time ago. GREAT product and scent. Looking forward to ordering more and testing out new scents!!!
