Single Beard Oil Samples

Love the size of these samples big enough for several uses. All 4 scents that I got are top notch too. Was tough to decide which ones to try since they all sound so good. Got Supernova, Slate, Blackwater, and Pinewood Peak. Blackwater on first use definitely impressed and sold me on a full size, still trying to decide between the others as I can’t get them all at once. Formula works really well too, would definitely recommend as they have earned a returning customer with me.

Packaging was great no leaks from any of the bottles and the Blackwater man my word!!! Reminds me of what picking up a piece of driftwood from the ocean back in Alaska smells like definitely nostalgic for myself

Love all of the scents with the exception of Widowmaker. That scent profile just isn’t my preference and The Study is a good go to but I didn’t put it in beard but one time. Not something that I would use everyday personally.

This was my first introduction into a true small batch beard company. I didn’t know which scent profile I would like so I bought the sampler. I enjoy all the scents in the pack, some are better than others, but all pleasant and easy to wear all day. I will enjoy using them all until the last drop. Great work Deadman’s Beard Co!

I can’t tell you how much I like this product. I had tried several others and though I liked them too, but after using Dead Man’s , I will not be using anything else.

I really like that this comes with some fragrance oil and essential oil blends. I like all of the scents, but definitely love Sea Storm and Pinewood Peak (the new scents). Some fragrance oil blends can be too strong and give me headaches, but these are not overbearing. The samples are also pretty big and I will likely get 5-7 uses or more out of each sample. Definitely a good place to start!

When I start with a new brand of beard care I always get the sample pack hoping to find one or two scents I like. This is the first time I can honestly say I enjoyed every single one, especially the fireside retreat. It reminded me of the camp fires i was around growing up. My beard feels great with the oil but for me it was the scents. So as I said in the title just take my wallet deadman, you've got me sold.

I had no idea what to really expect, but man did this blow me away! The scent is hands down my favorite. It’s dark, woodsy, with a bit of freshness to it! That combined with the beard butter and my beard is feeling and looking the best it’s ever been. The fiancée even says it’s her favorite beard oil scent so far, that right there is a win!! Not to mention, it lasts all day! I can’t wait to try more from this company!

First off the gentleman that owns Deadman’s is a top shelf guy! Answered my questions immediately. Not only that order was placed just before Labor Day and showed up the day after Labor Day. WTF kind of speedy delivery plan does this guy have ? Impressed!!!

The in beard feel is great. Scents are among some of the best I’ve smelled. I will definitely be making more orders soon. And I strongly recommend you do too.

I've always thought that Deadman's made great beard oil. My only complaint is that I have a difficult time with their scents. I can't put my finger on it but they are just never what I think they are going to be. They are also very light scented. This scent is fine, nothing to rave about. It remind me a lot of "Slate" if you've tried that one.

Ordered multiple samples and they all smell fantastic. I definitely notice a difference in how my beard and face feel also. Beard is nice and soft, and no face itch at all. I will be back for more.

These samples are a great way to try a scent. They are bigger than the usual samples you get from other companies. They are also good for travel instead of taking a full sized bottle.

This is one of New Favorite . It a clean and crisp scent that I can't get A nuff of. I definitely will be buying the set.

Smell great, it is very citrusy

A little too thin viscosity for my beard. The scent of Blackwater definitely reminded me of my neighbor in his garage sawing 2x4"s. Fresh wood. The widow maker, smelled like some kind of interesting Christmas candy. I would say if you enjoy either one of those scents this could be for you. Im not saying they are bad, Im telling you what I got out of it. I did not detect any whiff of tobacco at all. And ,Im more of a tobacco scent guy, like lux bastards tobaccoinist. And I like talc scent. Try em see what you think!

Great packaging and no leaks from any of my oil

OBSIDIAN smells great. It's a manly fruity/floral scent. Kind of reminds me of lavender mixed with some lilac with a slight hint of warm spice and some subtle sweet notes. It's hard to describe but landed well above my expectations. Worth a try if you want something unique.
BLACKWATER is probably my new go-to everyday favorite scent. It's similar to Sea Storm but with a harder hitting masculine cologne scent. It's one of DMs stronger scents and a little strong at first settles out and is pleasant to wear all day, everyday.
SEA STORM is a mild-strong aquatic scent. Easy on the nose with a fresh and clean scent. Doesn't smell like the sea but has sea vibes. Kind of punchy but not too overbearing.
SLATE is the milder cousin to Blackwater and Sea Spray. It has similar notes to the two but a little less aquatic and a little less cologne punch. It's a more neutral scent from DM. Not bad if you're looking for a lighter option to wear everyday.
WIDOWMAKER takes a different turn. It's warm, spicy and sweet. It reminds me of un-burned cherry pipe tobbaco but the sweet and spice adds a little more sophistication. A little on the strong side but after a while it mellows out and carries throughout the day quite well. It's one that smells like it's died out after a few hours then every now and then still gives off hits of scent.
SUPERNOVA is great for everyday wear. It's bright with a lot of sweet citrus kick at first but doesn't carry long into the day. I really wish citrus scents could last longer because this one is a very pleasant scent. Not a bad one to try for your first go.
THE STUDY I didn't get in a oil sample but sampled it in the stripping wash. It is very very strong and the scent is simply leather. I couldn't get much of the mahogany/wood scent because the leather is so overpowering. It's nice but gets old fast. So strong with leather scent!
PINEWOOD PEAK is one of my least favorite scents, tested. It comes on strong with the citrus and cedar scent and carries that for several hours. Almost like a fresh cut cedar plank with a zesty orange smashed into it. The feel is different too. It feels more oily/greasy than the non-essential oil blends which takes some time to get used to. I was waiting for it to mellow out and settle a little throughout the day but it seemed like it just carried the same citrus cedar smell until it faded out completely.

All in all, this company makes a great product. From the beard oil, the beard wash system, to the beard butter. All good stuff.
