It works great for scraping the balm neatly. Easy to control and get the correct amount of balm.
I was thinking about using it to play bass, as when I do use a plectrum/pick, I use one this size and shape. I found it to be too smooth to use for bass, so it slips between my finger, especially when I start sweating when I play. I have to stay with the Deadman's sticker on my number one bass.
